Winter activities are always more enjoyable when there’s wine tasting. Join your friends on a short snowshoeing trek where you’ll see two of the most impressive waterfalls along the Niagara Escarpment. Afterwards you might be hungry for a light lunch, so we’ll make a quick stop at the Ravenna Country Market where you can buy one of their awesome sandwiches, or home-made soup.

Skiing and snowboarding in Ontario is about standing up to the weather and making the most of every opportunity to get on the slopes. No matter what way you look at it, winter defines us and makes us who we are. Whether it's your first day on the bunny hill, or your fiftieth day catching first tracks, Blue Mountain is your destination for a winter experience to remember forever.

Your group will be picked up and driven to one of the local area apple orchards. As soon as all are strapped into supplied snowshoes, you’ll head off with our guide for a relaxed paced snowshoe (no experience required) through the picturesque orchard. Afterwards, warm up with hot cider, or cold if you’d prefer. Talk about an orchard to glass experience! Then we’ll make one more stop for some adult beverage tasting, before heading back.

STAY ON TOP OF IT

One of the most unique winter offerings at Scenic Caves can only be experienced with a pair of snowshoes. Walk across Ontario’s longest suspension bridge with snowshoes strapped to your boots and observe in awe, at the 10,000 square kilometer view of Georgian Bay and beyond that can only be seen from our Suspension Bridge.

The Nordic Centre is home to 27 kilometers of terrain that is groomed daily, perfect for both classic and skate skiers. Three trail designations indicate the level of difficulty and we offer something for every level of cross country skier.

Sharpen your skates and cruise on our 1.1km ice skating loop while enjoying extraordinary views along the Niagara Escarpment. Ice skate rentals are available and all skill levels are welcome.

Snow tubing provides guests with a genuine downhill experience without the speed and equipment associated with skiing and snowboarding. On this tour we will meet you at the Petun Conservation Area on 2nd Line. There you will be led on a beautiful hike along the Bruce Trail by one of our passionate and knowledgeable guides.

The Huronic is docked in Collingwood's historic harbour, known for it's shipbuilding and side-launching of its ships.

Although much smaller than the original ship, our Huronic, is a 65-foot tour boat that seats 70 passengers. The lower level boasts a fully licensed bar, accompanied with a snack bar, washroom and seating area, while the upper deck has seating that is partially covered and protected from the weather.
